There are many types of pollution on human development.

Explanation:

For example, take carbon monoxide. Its major source is from motor vehicle exhaust. The effect? It can poison and kill organisms.

Another example is sulfur and nitrogen oxides. Their major sources are coal-fired power plants and motor vehicle exhaust. The effect is that they both lead to acid rain. If acid rain falls on soil, it can damage the soil and the organisms living in it. If it falls on a body of water, it will kill all the aquatic organisms in it.

One last example is carbon dioxide. Its major source is all fossil fuel burning. It leads to global warming, which is the increased quantity in Earth's atmosphere produced by human activities.

I hope this helps. :)
