First is sweat gland , next sebaceous gland : both are present on skin. Then there are mammary glands which become functional in females after giving birth. Most carnivores possess scent glands secretion of which is used to mark territory. Inside external ear canal, there are ceruminous glands secreting ear wax. Several glands are also located at the base of eyelashes, e.g. gland of Zeis .
