Generally, Arenes are aromatic hydrocarbon compounds.
So, when one carbon is replaced by Oxygen, Nitrogen, Sulfur, Phosphorus or another atom, the compound is called heteroarene.
Some hetero arenes:
Pyridine, Quinoline, Thiophene and so on...
