What are the trophic hormones of the anterior pituitary?
Here's what I've got.
There are four. Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), Luteinizing Hormone (LH), Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) and Thyrodi-Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
LH/FSH (LH being in males, and FSH being in females) Which affects the reproductive functioning. With LH it helps regulate Testosterone. With FSH it produces Estrogen.
ACTH (Adrenocorticotropic Hormone) Which targets Adrenals, which in turn produces the hormone Cotrisol.
TSH (Thyroid-stimulating hormone/Thyrotrophin) which targets the Thyroid and is also called Thyroxine.
Hope this helps. :)
