Foundation of modern physics.

#### Explanation:

Sir Isaac Newton is credited for the foundation of modern physics and calculus (along with Leibniz). He first used calculus in around $1687$, and published it in his book Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica.

He managed to formulate the law of gravity $\left(F = \frac{G {m}_{1} {m}_{2}}{{r}^{2}}\right)$, classical mechanics (with formulas such as $\vec{F} = m \vec{a}$), and also explained more clearly Kepler's laws of planetary motion.

Hope this helps!
