In Meiosis 1, chromatin condenses to chromosomes,they pair up(prophase 1), they align in line(metaphase 1), each chromosome from a pair is separated and transported to opposite poles( during anaphase 1) ,then chromosomes decondense and nuclear envelope surrounds them(telophase 1),which disappeared in prophase 1.

In Meiosis 2, chromatin condenses to chromosomes(prophase 1), they align in line(metaphase 2), each sister chromatid from a chromosome is separated and transported to opposite poles( during anaphase 1) ,then chromosomes decondense and nuclear envelope surrounds them(telophase 1),which disappeared in prophase 1.enter image source here
