A Black dwarf is Hypothesized as the final stage of the life cycle of a Sun-like Star.

Explanation:

A Black dwarf is Hypothesized as the final stage of the life cycle of a Sun-like Star. When Sun burns all of its hydrogen to helium, its core will shrink and it will rearrange itself, expanding its outer layers o form a Redgiant Star. In this stage it'll burn Helium for the next 100 million years to Carbon and when its out of helium it will once again rearrange itself, as the Sun in the Red giant Stage won't be dense enough to fuse Carbon to other heavier elements it'll calmly shed its outer layers and become a white dwarf.

Scientists have hypothesized that in this stage, the Sun will still be radiating heat and Energy for the next tens of hundreds of Billion years until it runs out of heat. This is called a Black Dwarf. Since the universe is still too young, its impossible to find any Black dwarfs.
