Parallax error is an experimenter's error when he/she reads the volume of an unknown liquid incorrectly.

Explanation:

Non-viscous and clear liquid volume reading uses the lower meniscus to describe the dispensed volume in the buret at eye level. Parallax error happen when you read the volume of the liquid at a height often higher or lower than your eye level.
