Radio Astronomy is the study of universe through analysis of radio emission.

Radio telescopes do this job of collecting data on the characteristics like brightness, color and motion of electromagnetic spectrum that contains all radiation from distant stars and far-distant star clusters.

In contrast, the visible spectrum is a very little part of the spectrum and so not that helpful for rigorous analysis.
