This problem cannot be solved because the slope cannot be defined. This is due to the fact that ${x}_{1} = {x}_{2}$ .

Use the slope formula to find slope, $m$.

$m = \frac{{y}_{2} - {y}_{1}}{{x}_{2} - {x}_{1}}$

Point 1: $\left(3 , - 4\right)$

${x}_{1} = 3$
${y}_{1} = - 4$

Point 2: $\left(3 , 4\right)$

${x}_{2} = 3$
${y}_{2} = 4$

$m = \frac{4 - \left(- 4\right)}{3 - 3} = \frac{8}{0} =$undefined
