ADH or Anti Diuretic Hormone controls and regulates the proper concentration of water in urine.

Explanation:

ADH or Anti Diuretic Hormone controls and regulates the proper concentration of water in urine.

ADH also called vasopressin :-

  • constricts blood vessels with rise in blood pressure.
  • acts on the kidney increasing reabsorption of water from the kidney tubules.

If ADH secretion is reduced, production of urine increases.
If Diuretics like tea, coffee, alcohol are taken in, Diuresis takes place and urine production increases.
