Each species rely on each other to survive as every organism has a vital role to play in this ecosystem.

Explanation:

Biodiversity is far most important for the existence of the species.

It also facilitates variation among the organisms interacting.

Biodiversity facilitates the storage of nutrient, pollution break down etc.

For humans it also generates the social benefits such as employment, research and recreation.

These are the reasons to why biodiversity is important for the ecosystem and the humans.
