Minimum: -2 (occuring at x values of #(3pi)/4 +n*pi#)

Explanation:

Plugging those in, you get 1-3(1) and 1-3(-1). The y values gotten out of it are: #(pi/4, -2)# which is the minimum, with maximum being #((3pi)/4, 4)# which is the maximum.
