There are a number of areas.

Explanation:

Many Palestinians were displaced after the first Arab-Israeli War in 1948-49 and then again in the Six Day War of June 1967.

They were also displaced from Arab countries because of internal conflict, Israeli intervention and their opposition to what was seen as conservative Arab states who were lukewarm in their support for the Palestinians.

This happened in 1970 in Jordan when they were defeated by the Jordanian army during September (hence the Black September movement) and displaced to Lebanon.

In Lebanon they became a factor in the Lebanese civil war in the 1980's suffering at the hands of both the Israeli army and Christian militias, most noticeably the slaughter of innocent old men, women and children at the refugee camps at Sabra and Chatila in 1982.

Today there are Palestinian communities still i these countries. However most live in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, which is under Hamas control.
