Where do we find Nucleic acids?
There are two main types of nucleic acids i.e
- RNA or ribonucleic acid is synthesized in the nucleus and is
found mainly in cytoplasm.
- DNA or deoxyrionucleic acid is found mainly in nucleus in case
of eukaryotes. Moreover, humans and some other complex
organisms also possess DNA in their mitochondria.
While in case of prokaryotes, it is present in nucleoid.
