It really depends on what the pollution is so you can't really determine which one is worse. But speaking generally, you can say non-point source pollution.

Point source pollution is when you can tell where the pollution came from (like hog waste in the water supply).

Non-point source pollution is when you can't really tell where the pollution came from (like excess #CO_2# in the atmosphere). This is generally caused when different types of pollution mix together.

Because it is harder to determine where non-point source pollution comes from, it is harder to take actions to stop this problem. This is one of the reasons why it is worse.
