Which would melt first, germanium with a melting point of 1210 K or gold with a melting point of 1064 °C?

Let's get them all into K, simple 0k is -273°C so 273k is 0°C as both are linear in growth, just different start points.
so 273 + 1064 is the temp of gold
which gives 1336, which is higher than germanium.
Germanium melts first.
