Why does the full moon appear larger than the sun?

Sun is 400 times farther away from Moon and sun is 400 times larger in diameter than moon.
Explanation:
But from earth for us both have approximate angular diameter same
Due to elliptical orbit the angular size changes.So Moon is slightly larger in angular diameter during its orbit..
Sun 31'32" to 32'33.33" angular diameter
Moon 29'20" to 34".o6". angular diameter.
The reason during sets or rising they appear larger is only optical illusion of our eyes.
