Explanation:
To function properly, our brains need a constant and stable supply of blood to feed neutrons. For example, when a person has a stroke, the blood supply to the brain is interrupted and massive loss of neurons occurs. Depending the effected part of the brain, several kinds of disabilities can occur.
The brain also tends a constant temperature. Overheating the brain can lead to impaired cognitive ability and possibly death.
Consequently, the body's systems must maintain both blood flow and brain temperature within set parameters for an optimally function brain.
