You could use size or density to separate the components of a mixture. You can also use colour and shape to help you identify the different components and easily remove them yourself.
To use size, you might put the salad through a filter, maybe start with a very small one that would only let the salad dressing through, then a larger one that might only let blueberries through etc.
You could also add water to the salad bowl and remove any fruit that floated onto the top based on density.
Remember, physical properties are any properties that can be measured without changing the substance.
