Leaving s at the R.H.S
We shift 8 to the L.H.S (numerator)

so now we get:
`4/16` x 8 `=` s

on solving:
s `=` 2

So our proportion is :
`4/16` `=` `2/8`
note: on solving the fractions we get an equal value of 0.25 on both the sides
L.H.S = R.H.S hence they are in proportion.
