Question #dd00a
1 Answer
Yes it would!
I've been thinking about this for some time now. Having easier access to all the answers or edits a contributor makes on a certain topic would be a great feature to have!
I said easier access because, at least when it comes to answers, you can see all the questions a contributor answered, but you have to go on a certain topic's page and look for them by scrolling down the list of posted answers.
I would like to propose two alternatives to Lucio's idea of "alive badges". Here's the first
Let's say you want to see all the answers/edits Ernest posted in The Mole. Currently, that link takes you to the topic page The Mole, which is great and should be kept.
However, you could make the number of questions answered/edited a link to a list of Ernest's answers/edits on this topic.
If I were to click on 54, a list of Ernest's answers on the topic The Mole would be available.
The second alternative - you can leave the numbers as they are, and change the little black label that appears when you hover your cursor over the link to a topic. Here's what I mean
Currently, if you hover your cursor over the topic The Mole, you get that little black label that says "Ernest Z. edited 31 answers and wrote 23 answers".
You could allow users to click on this little black label in order to get to see a list of those edits/answers.
All in all, being able to have easier access to all the answers a contributor wrote on a certain topic would be great!
I don't know if anybody else agrees, but I often get the feeling that not that many students actually access the topic pages, which is a shame because they're full of useful answers!
A great first step in ensuring that the answers already written get more exposure would be to have such a feature.
There are of course many other ways you could that, but that's a topic for another day :)
