do you need to find the #y#-intercept??

If so, you have to arrange it into #y##=##m##x##+##c# equation

Explanation:

#m#= gradient
#c##=# #y#-intercept

bing your 2#x# to the right side...becomes (#-#2#x#)
then, divide all over it with #-#3, so you have only #y# at the left hand side

Thus,

#-#3#y##=##-#2#x##-#18
#y##=#(#-#2#x##-#18)#/##-#3

#:.# #y##=#2#/#3#x##+#6

#m##=# 2#/#3
#c##=# 6
