As long as you don't overdo it, I don't see why not.

Explanation:

I have seen students do this from time to time, i.e. send notes to contributors asking them to check out questions they posted, so it's something that's already going on to a small degree.

With this in mind, it's safe to say that too much of anything can become irritating at some point, so even if you do decide to ask a specific contributor for help, don't overdo it.

A request here and there works fine, but don't transform this into go-to technique to get your questions answered.

The great thing about Socratic is that everybody is willing to help, so most of the time you'll get a quality answer regardless if you ask someone for help or not.
