The F block can hold 14 electrons

This chart will show you what elements are in which block but also if you count each little individual square it will tell you how many pair of electrons are in each block.

In the f block section on the bottom it shows #14# squares which will equal #14# pairs of electrons in that block.

This is the way I was taught to make it easier and it is easier to memorize this!! :) hope this helped!!
