Why was the Battle of Bunker Hill considered a Patriot victory?

For each American soldier killed, two British troops died. Plus it was a hollow victory for the British.
Explanation:
First, it showed the colonial troops were a force to be dealt with. That is, it took 3 charges, first up Breeds Hill and then Bunker Hill before the Charlestown peninsula was taken. But the British did not take any prisoners and the colonists simply abandoned Charlestown as they ran out of ammunition.
It also showed that the colonial victory of Lexington and Concord was not a fluke. Even though the colonists were out-trained, out-supplied, and better led, the colonial soldiers were not to be taken lightly which meant the British needed a new strategy.
