Domain = {x|x epsilon RR, x!=1, x!=-1}

Explanation:

Factorise the denominator first.

(x+2)/(x^2-1) = (x+2)/{(x+1)(x-1))

The denominator may not be zero. The two values of x which will make the denominator are x = 1, and x= -1

Domain = {x|x epsilon RR, x!=1, x!=-1}
