Plz explain me clearly how to find out that the given compound is antiaromatic or nonaromatic or aromatic....I am not even getting from the above mentioned answers ..so plzzz someone guide it more clearly?

In general...........

Explanation:

In general a compound is described as aromatic if it has #6# (i.e. #4n+2#) #pi# electrons constrained in a ring. Such an arrangement confers a special stability. Benzene meets this criterion, as does toluene, as do heterocyclic bases such as pyrrole, i.e. #C_4H_5N#, or furan, #C_4H_4O#.

Tub-shaped #"Cyclo-octatetraene"# may be reduced to the planar #"cyclo-octatetraenyl dianion", C_8H_8^(2-)#, by reducing the tetraene with potassium. Does this meet the aromatic criterion?

The term was developed in the mid-19th century. It does not refer to the smell of the molecule. The six-membered aryl ring is a ubiquitous feature of organic chemistry, and the chemistry of the ring is noted by its stability and its tendency to undergo reactions, aromatic substitutions, where the aryl ring is retained.
