To keep it simple: understanding other planets' compositions helps us to better understand our own.

Once you realize that the very elements that reside within our own bodies came from a dying star just as these other planets did, you will find a sense of familiarity and harmony that can be liberating when modern life on Earth becomes overwhelming.
