Chemical change can be either reversible OR irreversible.

Explanation:

Irreversibility is not a necessary criterion for chemical change; and nor is reversibility. Chemical change is characterized by the formation of new substances, and the making and breaking of strong chemical bonds. Reversibility is a NECESSARY (but not sufficient) condition for all chemical equilibria.

Irreversible or reversible.

Explanation:

In a chemical reaction,a new substance is formed.
Still, it can be reversed also.
