Explanation:
If you use a TI graphing calculator:
- Put the data points into the STAT 1.EDIT L1 list
- To exit out after you complete your list: 2nd QUIT (MODE button)
- 2nd STAT PLOT (Y= button) and select a Plot by ENTER
- Turn Plot ON by selecting ENTER when on the ON
- Arrow down to the first box whisker plot Type and select ENTER
- Make sure Xlist has the list name you used to store your data
- Go to WINDOW and make sure your Xmin = 40, XMAX=64, Xscl=5
- GRAPH
- TRACE and the arrow right takes you to the Min, Q1, Median, Q3 and Max
