When sunlight excites electrons in chlorophyll, how the electrons change?

Explanation:

Electrons shells have different energy levels. Photons of sunlight are absorbed by electrons. When this light energy is absorbed, it jumps from its base energy level to a higher level. When chlorophyll in plants then process this energy, the electrons will return to their base energy level
