Plot the intercept points #(0,2)# and #(-1,0)#, then draw a straight line through those 2 points.

Explanation:

The y-intercept is the value of #y# when #x=0#
If #y=2x+2# then when #x=0#, #color(white)("XX")y=2 * 0 + 2=2#
That is, the y-intercept is the point #(0,2)#

Similarly, the x-intercept is the value of #x# when #y=0#
If #y=2x+2# then when #y=0#, #color(white)("XX")0=2x+2color(white)("X")rarr 2x=-2color(white)("X")rarr x=-1#
That is, the x-intercept is the point #(-1,0)#

Plotting these 2 points and drawing a line through them should look something like:
