a) #CaCO_3 -> CaO +CO_2#
b) 94.33%

Explanation:

a) Formula of carbon dioxide is #CO_2# as valency of C is +4 and of O it is -2
Formula of calcium carbonate is #CaCO_3# as valency of Ca is +2
(You need to know the valency, and a tip to form the equation is to get the valency of every compound/element in the equation as 0)

b) 1 mole CaO = 56g
13100g = #13100/56#moles
= 233.93 moles
1 mole #CaCO_3# = 100g
24800g = 248 moles
% yield = #(233.93/248)*100#
= 94.33%
