So-called "salts................."........and of course "water".

Explanation:

In aqueous solution, we can representation the neutralization reaction as:

HX(aq)+M(OH)(aq) rarr MX(aq) + H_2O.

And in water we conceive of the hydronium ion, H_3O^+, as the acidium species, and the hydroxide ion, HO^-, as the base.

And this goes back to the old designation of such reactions in aqueous solution:

"Acid + Base "rarr" Salt and water".......................
