The lower the value of the pH the more concentrated the acid.

pH is the negative log of the Hydrogen ion concentration.

If the pH is 2 then the negative antilog of 2 is # 1/10^2# or 1/100

If the pH is 1 then the negative antilog of 1 is # 1/10^1# or 1/10

so the lower the pH value the more concentrated the acid
