Explanation:
The hepatic portal vein fetches the de-oxygenated blood from different organs i.e stomach, pancreas, spleen and small intestine and transfers it to liver.
Three hepatic veins arise from liver: left, right and middle. These veins transport the de-oxygenated blood from liver to the inferior vena cava of the heart.
