Calculate the energy produced from the fusion of Deuterium and Tritium into Helium and a neutron, in kJ per gram of Deuterium used. Please help! I don't know how to convert from #am u\ m^2\ s^-2 # into #{kJ}/g#. Also, do I need to do anything further if they say "in kJ per gram of Deuterium used"?

#10^-6 (kJ)/g #

Because 1 J = #kg m^2/s^2 and 1 kJ = 10^3 J#
# m^2/s^2 = J/(kg ) = (10^-3 kJ)/(10^3g) #

Thus,

#m^2/s^2 = 10^-6 (kJ)/g#
