Area of smaller square is `50`

Explanation:

As the side of larger square is `10`

and diameter of circle is equal to side of larger square

and hence diameter of circle is `10`

In smaller square, it is the diagonal of square which is equal to the diameter of circle

therefore diagonal of smaller square is `10`

As diagonal of a square is `sqrt2` times its side, the side is diagonal divided by `sqrt2`

Hence side of smaller square is `10/sqrt2`

and its area is `10/sqrt2xx10/sqrt2=100/2=50`
