NON-renewable! In both cases.

Explanation:

It may be a "cleaner" fuel in terms of atmospheric pollution, but it still originates from a finite source material.

Even fusion requires finite-sourced materials. Its advantage over fission is a cleaner process (less radioactive wastes) as well as a higher power output.

But in both cases we still need the source materials, so neither of them is a "renewable" source as are solar, wind, hydrodynamic and geeothermal sources.
