Explanation:

As the circle touches both x=2 as well as x=12,

its center lies on x=2+122=7 i.e. it is of type (7,k)

and radius is 1222=5

Hence the equation could be

(x7)2+(yk)2=25

and as it passes through (4,5)

or (5k)2=259=16

i.e. 5k=±4 and k=1 or k=9

and hence equation of circle is (x7)2+(y1)2=25

i.e. x2+y214x2y+25=0

or (x7)2+(y9)2=25

i.e. x2+y214x18y+105=0
