In this equation, there are some giveaways that will help a lot.

Let's start with that negative sign in the beginning of the equation.

#y=underline-5x+2#

This tells us that the line will point downwards, which is handy to know for when graphing.

Next look at the slope, which is #-5#.

#y=underline(-5x)+2#

Since we know that the negative sign will make the line go down the fourth quadrant, all we need to do for making the line is to count one unit to the right, and #5# units down.

Make some dots that will shape the line.

Now for the last part of the equation, the #2#.

#y=-5x+underline2#

It is positive, so that means the line will move upward #2# units. So move each of the dots you made two units up.
