Because everyone doesn't have the same psychology, everyone has a way to deal with depression or a problem differently.

Explanation:

When kids are depressed or stressed they find a suitable explanation and think to help them by doing harm to themselves or another, they think they cant get help so they deal with it in another dangerous way. There are more explanations for this but I only know my explanation.
