the answer is 2(x-7)(x+5)

Explanation:

first you have to take out(aka find what they have in common) which would be 2 so you'll have 2(x^2-2x-35) and now you have to worry about the parenthesis and factor so you'll now have (x-7)(x+5) but you still have the 2 so you have to put that at the front first.

2(x- 7)( x +5)

Explanation:

2 x^2-4 x-70 = 2 x^2-14 x +10 x-70

= 2 x(x- 7) +10(x-7)

=(x- 7)( 2 x +10)

=2(x- 7)( x +5) [Ans]
