The Glorious Revolution is the main event that should be associated with John Locke
John Locke advocaed the protection of the right of owning property and individual liberties such as the habeas corpus. He also preached religious toleration between Calvinists and Anglicans.
The Glorious Revolution saw the king of England, James II being replaced by his son-in-law William III in what is remembered as a revolution of both liberty and protestantism.
He had an influence on the American Revolution and is often considered the main influence of the latter.
