Note that opposite sides are parallel and of equal length, so it is also a parallelogram.

Also taken as two pairs, adjacent sides are of equal length, the diagonals intersect at right angles and the quadrilateral is convex. So it is a kite.

If the angles were all equal (which would require them to be #90^@#) it would also be a square.
