Explanation:
If you heat one end of a metal rod slowly the other end will also get hot after sometime..THis is due to hear transferring by conduction.
all metals are good conductors of heat.
If you heat water in a pot first the water at bottom will get hot.Then the hot water become less dense and it goes up,.THe cold water from top will come down and replace the cold water.This process is known as convection
