As the website of acadia university says : the size of the chloroplast is 5 micrometers

I think the size here means Area

doing some maths, you can find the radius of the chloroplast from

the formula #A=pir^2#

using the calculator you find R= 1.26 mm

and then find the diameter by multiplying the radius by 2

Diameter= 1.26 mm = 2.5 mm
