`pi` is the ratio of circumference of a circle divided by its diameter .

It is an irrational number whose value is

`3.141592653589793238462643383279502....................`

`3.14` is its value approximated up to just two decimals for calculations.

Many use `22/7` which is easier in calculations and also use `3.1416` and is most accurate among these values (discussed above).

As a fraction one of the well known easier, more accurate and easy to remember fraction is `355/113=3.1415929203....`, but it is rarely used.
