That depends on what kind of benefits you're looking to get.

Explanation:

Let me start by saying that there are no material benefits to mention. Socratic is #100%# volunteer work when it comes to its community.

People answer questions on Socratic in their spare time and they do so without being financially compensated. All the content is licensed under Creative Commons, which means that it can be used by anyone for free.

In a nutshell, money or other material benefits are not and will not be exchanged for contributions. Ever.

Now, you should consider becoming a contributor if you're passionate about teaching and learning. Socratic is one of the many online platforms that allows people to share their knowledge with the world.

Keep in mind that your contributions will go well beyond the people you are helping directly. Millions of people have used Socratic to learn and to help others learn, and millions more will do so for years to come.

Knowing that years from now, one of your answers will help someone thousands of miles away, whom you'll never meet in your life, understand how to solve a problem or answer a question, now that's what I would call a benefit!

We are all tiny drops in an ever-growing ocean of knowledge, so why not join us? :D
